Gold Coast Shoot Locations

A trend that’s become hugely popular in personal branding photography (and I’m totally here for it!!) - hiring a shoot location.

A massive benefit of hiring a styled home for your shoot means that we’re able to capture a huge variety of images, that are beautifully cohesive.

When choosing a home for a shoot, here’s what’s most important to consider:

  • Chose a home that has ample natural light.  The quality of the light directly impacts the quality of your images, this is hugely important!

  • Homes that are bright, airy and are styled with neutral tones.   Why are neutral tones great?  It allows you to bring along your own props that align with your branding colours (e.g. cushions, throw rugs, vases, coffee cups etc.).   Or you can add pops of colour with your clothing choices.

  • If you work from home, choose a location that has an office or a dining table that can be styled to visually communicate this.

  •  Capturing images that have ‘negative space’ are a must have for every branding shoot.   What’s negative space?   It’s room to the left or right of you in an image that allows you to overlay graphics or text (think web banners, podcast cover image, book cover or Facebook banners).    Say ‘No” to clutter and “Yes” to minimal styling.

We’re really spoilt for choice here on the Gold Coast, here are a few of my favourite Gold Coast photoshoot locations that are available for hire:
